Commercial; I am also a professional sculptor & designer who offers a complete Design & Make service, excelling in the realisation of sculptures for many commercial applications and public art areas, museum & heritage environments including interactives, trade stands & exhibitions, architectural spaces, as well as sets/props for film, TV, and animation productions.
Workshops; I offer a comprehensive range of Craft workshops and community art realisation, using many different materials & techniques frequently using reclaimed / recycled materials. With over 18 year experience of working with a wide span of ages, abilities & needs, from primary school to degree level, special & less able as well as adult mental health, throughout the East Midlands.
Brief outline of some of the workshops I offer, although most are tailored to individual requirements.
* Recycled Woven Forms, exploring reusing 'waste' materials and using various construction techniques, to produce individual &/or joint piece/installation.
* Junk Sculpture, creative materials & techniques modelmaking & sculpture, to produce single &/or joint installation.
* History TimeLine, combination of techniques to realise single class or whole schools artwork as educational resource installation.
* Relief Sculpture, traditional clay modelling that is then moulded and reproduced in resins to realise a resource for all the school sited in or outside.
* Literacy Visualisation, origination of 'wow' words & associated meanings realised through creative calligraphy/signwriting, produce 'word world' to inspire & engage.
* Maths Sculpture, various techniques; creative shape origination, developing sequences modelmaking, creation of spacial puzzles & number challenges to engage, inspire & challenge, by realising an educational resource installation.
